FRESH FRUIT CRISP 
1 c. oats (quick or old fashioned), uncooked
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. water
6 c. apples, peaches or pears, plums, peeled and sliced

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine oats, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients except fruit. Add fruit slices, tossing to coat. Spoon into 8 inch square glass baking dish. Top with oat mixture. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until fruit is tender.

Yield: 9 servings.
