FRUIT-BEJEWELED FRANKS 
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. curry powder
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1/8 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 c. orange juice
1 lb. frankfurters
2 c. fruits
1/2 c. mushrooms (optional)
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. walnuts (optional)

Mix 2 tablespoons each cornstarch and sugar, 1 teaspoon curry powder, 1/8 teaspoon each ground cloves and ginger. Stir in 1 1/2 cups orange juice. Cook, stirring until thick. Add 1 pound franks cut into thirds, 2 cups fruits, 1/2 cup each mushrooms, raisins, walnuts. Heat. 4-6 servings.

(Fruits can be large can of (16 ounce) fruit cocktail.)

This is a quick & easy favorite at our house, esp. served over a bed of rice! We generally use fruit cocktail, but another favorite combination is smoked sausage links cut into slices with canned apricots. We enjoy brown rice, too, but you do need to allow for additional cooking time for the rice.
