FRUIT-BEJEWELED FRANKS | |
2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. curry powder 1/8 tsp. ground cloves 1/8 tsp. ginger 1 1/2 c. orange juice 1 lb. frankfurters 2 c. fruits 1/2 c. mushrooms (optional) 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. walnuts (optional) Mix 2 tablespoons each cornstarch and sugar, 1 teaspoon curry powder, 1/8 teaspoon each ground cloves and ginger. Stir in 1 1/2 cups orange juice. Cook, stirring until thick. Add 1 pound franks cut into thirds, 2 cups fruits, 1/2 cup each mushrooms, raisins, walnuts. Heat. 4-6 servings. (Fruits can be large can of (16 ounce) fruit cocktail.) |
