CRAB CAKES | |
1/2 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1 lb. lump crabmeat 2 tbsp. mayonnaise 1 tbsp. baking soda 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 slices bread, no crust & diced 2 eggs 8 oz. mozzarella cheese 1 clove garlic, diced 1/2 stick butter Juice from 1/2 lemon 1 tbsp. Old Bay seasoning 1. Clean crabmeat. 2. Beat eggs in large bowl. 3. Mix mayonnaise, Worcestershire, baking soda and Old Bay. 4. Add crabmeat and diced bread; mix well. 5. Add celery, onion, green pepper and cheese; mix well. 6. Saute garlic in butter and lemon juice over medium-high heat. 7. Form mixture into patties and cook until golden brown. Flip and cook other side. 8. Serve hot with rice pilaf dish. Serves 4. |
