POTATO ONION CHEESE SOUP 
1/2 lb. bacon, chopped
8 yellow onions
1 qt. milk
2 c. diced, cooked potatoes
1 c. grated cheese
1 stalk celery
Garnish with parsley
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Chop bacon and fry. Drain off half the fat. Slice yellow onions and fry in fat until soft. Heat 1 quart milk. Chop celery fine and add it. Add diced, cooked potatoes. Add onion and bacon. Heat thoroughly. Add 1 cup grated cheese; stir well and garnish with parsley.
