FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
3 eggs
2 tbsp. rum
3/4 golden raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 lb. candied pineapple
1 1/2 lbs. pecans
3/4 lb. candied cherries

Mix butter and sugar together; add flour, allspice, cinnamon, soda, eggs, and rum. Pour over combined fruit and pecans; mix well.

This makes a lot; use a large pan for mixing. Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
