ORANGE CRANBERRY BREAD 
2 c. raw cranberries (cut in half)
2 c. granulated sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. diluted frozen orange juice
2 tbsp. grated orange rind
1 c. chopped walnuts
4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. melted shortening

Wash and dry berries and set aside. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt. Beat eggs and add orange juice, shortening and orange rind. Make a well in center of dry ingredients and add liquids. Stir until dampened.
