MARTHA WASHINGTON CANDY | |
2 boxes confectioners' sugar 1 stick butter 1 can sweetened condensed milk 2 tsp. vanilla 4 c. chopped nuts 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 block paraffin wax Combine sugar, milk, butter, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Add nuts and form mixture into balls. Place on waxed paper. Melt chocolate and paraffin in double boiler. Dip balls into chocolate and paraffin mixture, using toothpicks. Yields 120 balls. Hint: Dip hands in powdered sugar while shaping mixture into balls to keep mixture from sticking to hands. |
