KUNK'S PIZZA CRUST RECIPE | |
3 tsp. yeast 2 tbsp. sugar 3 tbsp. corn meal/semolina 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. fresh ground black pepper 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/3 cups warm/semi-hot water and 4 tbsp. olive oil (extra virgin if possible) simultaneously Mix the dry ingredients first, then add the water and oil simultaneously. Mix and knead ingredients well but not overly Cover and let rise in warm place for 1 hour 15 minutes. Generously coat pan with olive oil and after sprinkle corn meal/semolina over majority. Best used as a thinner crust with 1 or 2 toppings at 500°F in the oven (on the lower rack) for (7-12 minutes, watch closely for perfection!!) Submitted by: Ryan K. |
