SESAME BEEF | |
1 lb. beef boneless sirloin steak 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1/4 tsp. pepper 3 green onions, finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 tbsp. sesame seeds 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 3 c. hot cooked rice Trim fat from beef steak; cut beef diagonally across grain into 1/8 inch slices. Mix sugar, 2 tablespoons oil, the soy sauce, pepper, onions, and garlic in bowl. Stir in beef until well coated. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes. Cook and stir sesame seeds in skillet over medium heat until golden brown; remove from skillet. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in same skillet until hot. Add beef. Cook and stir beef in oil over medium-high heat until light brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve over rice. |
