PORK ROAST & KRAUT 
4 lbs. pork roast
1 onion, chopped
1 apple, peeled & chopped
1 qt. sauerkraut

Bake pork roast in uncovered pan for 2 hours at 300 degrees. Rub small amount of salt on roast before baking. Mix other ingredients and spread on top of roast after the baking time. Cover tightly with foil. Bake 3 more hours at 300 degrees. Slice and serve. Good with creamed potatoes and hot biscuits.
