HOT CHEESY CORN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. yellow corn meal
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 (15 oz.) can cream style corn
1/2 c. salad oil
1 egg
1 c. sour cream
1/2 (3 1/2 oz.) can jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
2 tbsp. minced green bell pepper
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir the cornmeal, baking powder and salt together in a bowl. Add everything except the cheese. Mix. Pour half the mixture into greased 10 1/2 inch round skillet or pie pan. Sprinkle half the cheese over this. Add remaining mixture and cover with the other half of the cheese. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Makes 10 servings.
