LAYERED LETTUCE SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1 c. celery, diced
4 eggs, hard cooked & diced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen uncooked peas
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1 c. grated carrots
1 med. onion, diced
8 slices bacon, fried & crumbled
2 c. salad dressing with 2 tbsp. sugar
4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese

Tear the lettuce into bite-size pieces and place in a 9 x 12 inch pyrex dish. Layer the remainder of the ingredients in the order given, except cheese. Spread the salad dressing mixed with sugar over top. Top with grated cheese. Cover and refrigerate for 8-10 hours. Garnish with additional cooked bacon and parsley or with cherry tomatoes.
