9 LAYER LETTUCE SALAD 
1 lg. head lettuce
1/2 c. chopped green bell peppers
1/2 c. onions, chopped
6 strips bacon, cooked crisp & crumbled
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. diced celery
3 eggs, hard boiled & chopped
10 oz. pkg. frozen green peas (don't defrost)
1 c. grated cheese

Tear large head of lettuce into bite-size pieces in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Then sprinkle the following in layers just the way they are put in order. Combine 2 tablespoons of sugar in mayonnaise; frost top of salad; grate 1 cup of cheese over top. Refrigerate 4-6 hours.
