Love this recipe! I make it in the crock pot, then my oven is not on so long. My husband and I live outside KC, so smoking meats and BBQ are a summer, well all year, staple and these are excellent for being cooked inside. we love them!

My husband and I LOVE this recipe. So easy! I make just two large ribs at a time for our meals so I cut the liquid mixture by 1/5 when making this small of a serving (1 vs 5 tsp, 1/2 tsp vs 2 1/2 tsp and so on). Cook for the allotted time and they come out sooo tender!

This was a great recipe, I didn't use the liquid smoke, but everything else down to the timing was perfect. Thank you.

My recipe is similar to the one above. I use 1 packet on chile seasoning packet, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 2 envelopes of alpine spiced apple cider instant drink mix, 1 - 1/4 cup Jack Daniels whiskey, 1-large bottle of sweet baby rays barbeque sauce, 1/4 cup tree top apple juice. I put 1 rack of baby back rib in first after cutting them into separate pieces. I then put the ribs in first. All the other ingredients I put in a mixing bowl and mix altogether and then pour it over the ribs in the crock pot, and cook on low for 3-4 hours. They will fall off the bone that how tender they will be. Hope you all like this because my son can eat the whole rack by himself. Thank you. Elmer S.

Have made these in the past for parties and always get requests to make them again. Definitely use liquid smoke and cook recommended time. Comes out extremely tender. Easy to make because the over does all the work. Everyone always wants to take leftovers with them. Um, um good.
