HERSHEY CHOCOLATETOWN COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 tbsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. Hershey semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz.)

Cream butter, shortening, brown sugar, eggs, corn syrup, water and vanilla. Beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Beat well. Stir in chips.

Drop by level 1/4 cupfuls 3 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes until lightly browned. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheets or drop by teaspoonful. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
