1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
5 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. lemon rind, grated

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, lemon and flour mixture. Shape into roll in wax paper and chill well. Slice or drop teaspoon on cookie sheet. Press small glass dampened with sugar on each. Bake at 350 degrees.
