G'MOMMA'S BUTTER ICING 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
Little over 1/2 stick butter (do not use tub butter)
2 heaping tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cook sugar and 3/4 cup water in small saucepan. Boil until it spins a thread. While this is cooking, melt the butter and add the flour. Mix until completely smooth. When the sugar thread spins, add to butter mixture. Add vanilla. Stir. Let cool and put over cake before it hardens. If it gets too had, add a little milk.

CHOCOLATE ICING: Add 2 heaping tablespoons cocoa to butter mixture before adding to sugar mixture.
