TANGIER BREAD PUDDING | |
5 slices bread 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. sugar, divided 3 eggs, beaten lightly 3 c. milk, scalded 1/4 tsp. cinnamon Toast bread and spread with butter while hot. Arrange toast in baking dish. Stir 6 tablespoons sugar into the eggs. Add milk to egg mixture. Pour over toast. Let stand 10 minutes. Press toast to soak up milk mixture. Mix remaining 2 tablespoons sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes until solid. |
