CRANBERRIES AND APPLES 
1 pkg. fresh cranberries
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
2 or 3 tart apples, peeled, diced
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. allspice

In large saucepan combine cranberries, water and sugar. Add cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil and cook until cranberries pop. Remove cinnamon sticks. Combine apples, brown sugar, allspice and a small amount of water in small saucepan. Cook until apples are just softened. Stir into cranberries. Serve warm or chilled with turkey or ham.
