1 stick butter
8 MILKY WAY® bars
1 c. pecans
1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
4 eggs

Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk together. On low heat, melt butter and MILKY WAY®, stirring frequently. When melted, add pecans. Add to first mixture. Blend soda, salt, and flour into mixture. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake 1 hour and 10 minutes in lightly greased and floured tube pan.

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
5 tbsp. milk

Melt butter; add cocoa, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Heat milk. Mix together and put on cake.
