ANISETTE 
1 pint grain alcohol
1 qt. water
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 bottles (1 oz. each) Anisette flavor (such as Messina brand)

Place alcohol in 1/2 gallon bottle; set aside. Boil sugar and water; let cool. Add to alcohol. Add flavoring. Cap bottle and store for 2 weeks (minutes) before serving.

NOTE: sugar and water mixture added to alcohol should equal 1/2 gallon. If it doesn't; boil more water and add to mixture.
