CRUMB APPLE PIE 
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Apples to fill 8 inch pie shell

Boil sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and water until thickened. Place apples in unbaked pie shell. Pour mixture over apples. Top with crumbs.

CRUMB MIXTURE:

1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
3 tbsp. butter

Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
