BISCUITS 
2 c. Hudson Cream self rising flour
3 tbsp. shortening
About 3/4 c. milk

Measure flour and add shortening and cut into flour. Add milk a little at a time. Whip up dough with a heavy spoon. Roll 1/3 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 450 degrees about 10 minutes.

A friend told me about Hudson Cream self-raising flour. I use it for everything especially this simple biscuit recipe. I have added a variety of "extras" (cheeses, herbs, fruits, bacon bits, sweetener, etc.) based on what else I'm serving. Never have any leftovers.
