CHOP SUEY - CHOW MEIN 
1 c. chicken meat
1 1/2 c. celery
1/2 c. bamboo sprouts
1/2 c. bean sprouts
1/2 c. water chestnuts
1/4 c. mushrooms
Peanut oil

GRAVY:

1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. Chinese molasses
1/2 c. water

Chop meat and vegetables separately. Fry meat in hot peanut oil. Add chopped vegetable and pour in 1-1 1/2 cups water. Boil for 10 minutes.

Add gravy. Made by dissolving salt, sugar, soy sauce, cornstarch and molasses in 1/2 cup water. Let entire mixture come to boil.

1/2 recipe = 228 calories, 20 gm carbohydrates, 24 gm protein, 6 gm fat, 2030 mg sodium, 64 mg cholesterol, 69 mg calcium.
