AUNT ELEANOR'S PEAS & PASTA 
2 cans (16 oz.) sweet peas
1 box (#8) spaghetti
5 red onions, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces
Salt to taste
1/2 c. olive oil

Put onions into a 4 quart pot and cover with olive oil, saute until golden. Pour in peas plus 1 1/2 cans of water, add salt and bring to a boil (let simmer while you cook the pasta). Break pasta into 2 inch pieces and cook in a separate pot. Drain pasta when done and add to peas.
