1 1/2 lbs. beef
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. ketchup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. shredded process American cheese
3 c. seasoned hot mashed potatoes

Combine beef, bread, egg, onion, ketchup, salt and pepper in large bowl. Pat meat into 8" baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. In bowl combine 3/4 cup cheese with potatoes. Spread over meat, sprinkle with cheese. Bake another 20 minutes.
