CHOCOLATE DROP COOKIES | |
2/3 c. butter, softened 1 c. granulated sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 1/2 c. Hershey cocoa 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/3 c. buttermilk or sour milk 1 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour Cream butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl and baking soda and salt. Alternately add flour mixture and buttermilk (or sour milk) to creamed mixture. Drop by teaspoonful 2 inches apart onto a large cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 7-9 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet. Cool on a wire rack. Frost if desired. |
