1 c. butter (2 sticks) 4 1/2 c. sugar 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream 1 (14 oz.) can evaporated milk 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips 1 lg. size milk chocolate bar, broken into pieces 1/2 c. chopped walnuts Combine butter, sugar, marshmallow and evaporated milk into 3 quart saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat. Stir constantly until sugar dissolves. Boil steadily over low heat for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Keep mixture at a fairly low boil all the time. Add milk chocolate pieces, chocolate chips and walnuts. Stir until chocolate is melted and blended into mixture. Pour at once into 2 lightly buttered 9 inch square pans. Cut when cool and firm. Makes about 5 1/2 pounds. |
