1 lb. real milk chocolate
1 pt. hand packed premium ice cream, any flavor except vanilla
Optionals - chopped nuts, raisins, cherries, coconut, marshmallows, extracts

In double boiler melt chocolate, then stir in ice cream until smooth and creamy. Add extras. Pour into 8 x 8 buttered pan. Chill. Keep this in refrigerator until ready to use. Here are some great combinations:

Maple nut ice cream, chopped walnuts and 1 teaspoon maple extract

Buttered pecan ice cream, broken pecans

New York cherry ice cream - extra halved maraschino cherries

Chocolate marshmallow ice cream, chopped nuts and mini marshmallows

Black walnut ice cream, raisins, extra walnuts

Peanut butter and fudge ice cream, chopped chocolate-covered peanuts.
