SEVEN LAYER CASSEROLE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1 c. cooked or canned kernel corn
Salt & pepper to taste
2 c. (16 oz. can) tomato sauce
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. fine chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. cooked or canned green beans
3/4 to 1 lb. ground sirloin or round beef
4 to 5 slices bacon, cut up

Put rice and corn in 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix tomato sauce and water. Pour half the mixture over the corn and rice. Add layers of the 3 vegetables followed by a layer of beef. Again, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add the remainder of tomato sauce mixture. Top with bacon. Cover tightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and cook 30 minutes longer.
