FRENCH PEAR PIE 
1 reg. pie crust
Fresh pears
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. ginger
1 egg
1 c. sour cream

Put regular pie crust into pie tin. Layer with pears, open side up. Mix together sugar and ginger; spread over pears. Beat together 1 egg, 1 cup sour cream; pour over pears. Top with Streusel Topping.

STREUSEL TOPPING:

1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar (packed)
1/4 c. chopped nuts or coconut
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter

Mix and sprinkle on pie. Bake until done. Can double streusel topping if you like more topping.
