CHOCOLATE FRENCH SILK PIE 
1 c. sugar
3 packets liquid baking chocolate
4 eggs
3/4 c. butter
1 tsp. real vanilla
1 9-inch baked pie shell

Combine sugar, butter, chocolate, and vanilla in mixing bowl, blend well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each egg. Pour into baked pie shell. Decorate with Whipped Cream Icing and garnish with chocolate shavings.

WHIPPED CREAM ICING:

1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
7 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Have all ingredients at room temperature. Cream together shortening and butter. Add sugar, milk, flour and vanilla. Beat icing 10 to 15 minutes until sugar is dissolved.
