SOUR CREAM BANANA BREAD 
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. commercial sour cream
2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. mashed bananas
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Combine butter and sugar, creaming until light and fluffy. Add egg and sour cream and mix well. Combine dry ingredients. Alternately add to creamed mixture with banana, mixing well after each addition. Add lemon juice, stirring until blended. Spoon into a well greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes or until done.
