SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 lb. butter
6 eggs
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 pinch salt
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Cream butter, add sugar and cream together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating to blend after each addition. After all eggs have been added, beat again until fluffy.

Sift together flour, salt and soda. Gradually add flour mixture to other beating continuously. Blend in sour cream. Add flavorings one at a time and blend well.

Turn batter into greased pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until cake springs up at touch.
