SLAW 
2 med. heads cabbage
2 bell peppers
2 onions
1 carrot

Chop all together; add 1/4 cup salt. Mix well; let set 30 minutes. Squeeze out by hand and add to mixture.

MIXTURE:

2 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. turmeric

Dissolve sugar, vinegar, turmeric together; add slaw to mixture. Add 2 teaspoons celery seed and 2 teaspoons mustard seed.
