1 loaf frozen bread dough OR 1 pkg. active dry yeast 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 2 to 2 1/2 c. flour 7/8 c. warm water (105-115 degrees) 1 tbsp. oil 3-5 chopped Italian or hot peppers 1/4-1/2 c. fresh spaghetti sauce 1/4-1/2 lb. Genoa salami, sliced thin 1/4-1/2 lb. Provolone cheese, sliced thin 1 egg white For bread dough: Put all dry ingredients in food processor. Add warm water and oil slowly. Process until ball of dough forms. Roll dough on floured board into rectangular shape. Spread spaghetti sauce on dough to within 1-inch of edges all around. Layer peppers, then salami and then cheese all around. Fold top to center and bottom up to center with bottom overlapping top. Fold sides in to cover. Pierce several times with fork. Bake on cookie sheet for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. |
