MAINLY MEAT LASAGNE 
2 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic
3 tbsp. sugar
Hunts special tomato sauce (26 oz. can)
Hunts tomato paste (12 oz.)
1 c. chopped onion (optional)
1 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
1 pkg. (1 lb.) lasagne noodles
1 lb. mozzarella cheese, shredded
Water

Brown ground beef. Drain well. Add onion and green peppers if you want them. Add seasonings more if desired. Add sauce and paste. Cook 15-20 minutes. Add 2-2 1/2 cups water. Do Not Cook Noodles!

Start layering in 14 x 10 inch pan with meat sauce, just cover the bottom. Place a single layer of noodles, then sauce, then a little cheese. Continue layering until there are 3 layers. Top with remaining cheese. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes. Remove foil last 10 minutes.

This is one of your families favorites and very difficult to mess up for those intimidated thinking that lasagna is hard to make. I omit the chopped green pepper and add low fat cottage cheese to my recipe. I increase the water just a bit 2 3/4 cup. This is good to prepare the evening before and leave in the refrigerator unit ready to heat. Very easy!!!!
