LEMON PIE 
4 eggs
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. boiling water

Mix together egg yolks, sugar, flour, lemon juice and boiling water. Cook in double boiler. When it begins to thicken, add 2 egg whites. Cook until thick, stirring while cooking. Pour into baked pie shell and add meringue. Bake until golden brown.

MERINGUE:

2 egg whites
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder or cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat whites stiff, and add sugar and vanilla.
