JEWISH APPLE CAKE | |
4-5 apples, sliced in chunks 5 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 tsp. lemon extract 1 c. oil 1/4 c. water 2 1/4 tsp. vanilla 3 c. flour 3 tsp. baking powder Mix apples, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside. In mixing bowl, blend rest of ingredients. Grease a tube pan. Spoon layers of 1/3 batter and 1/3 apple mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours. |
