SPAETZLE 
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. melted butter
1/2-3/4 c. milk

Beat eggs into flour and salt. Add melted butter. Add enough milk to make a dough. Place dough on a flat plate. With a knife, cut small pieces of dough into boiling salted water. Boil 6 to 8 minutes. Remove spaetzle with slotted spoon and place in colander to drain. Rinse with cold water; drain. Saute in butter until golden. Good with chicken paprikash.
