OREGANO CHICKEN 
2 1/2 lb. to 3 lb. chicken, cut up
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. shortening
1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 juice can water
2 tbsp. dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Sprinkle chicken pieces with one teaspoon salt. Mix flour and remaining salt and pepper in a bag. Add chicken and shake to coat the pieces evenly. Brown in hot shortening. Spoon off excess fat or remove chicken and pour out the fat. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over chicken. Cover and simmer for about 1/2 hour, turning several times. Serve over rice.
