ORIENTAL SALAD 
1 (1 lb.) bag of precut cole slaw mix
4 green onions, chopped (or 1 med. onion), optional
2/3 c. slivered almonds
2/3 c. sunflower seeds
2 pkgs. Top Ramen (chicken)
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce

In 4 tablespoon butter, saute almonds, sunflower seeds and Top Ramen noodles, including seasoning packet. Slowly brown. In a large bowl, mix cabbage, green onions and sauteed nuts and noodles. Mix rest of ingredients-vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar and soy sauce. This is the dressing. Add before serving. This salad is at its best if made no more than an hour ahead of time.
