“CHIP KISSES” IS IN:

CHIP KISSES 
4 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups broken walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 300°F.

Beat egg whites until foamy; add salt and cream of tartar. Continue beating until egg whites are stiff but not dry.

Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Fold in nuts, vanilla and chocolate chips.

Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased heavy paper on cookie sheet.

Bake at 300°F for 25 minutes.

Makes 72 kisses.
