SIX WEEK BRAN MUFFINS | |
1 c. boiling water 1 c. 100% or All Bran breakfast food 1/2 c. shortening or butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 beaten eggs 1 pt. buttermilk 2 1/2 c. flour 2 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. 100% or All Bran breakfast food Add boiling water to bran breakfast food. Allow to cool. Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and buttermilk. Add to first mixture. Stir in flour, soda and salt. Fold in remaining bran breakfast food. Stir only to moisten. |
