FLAMED APPLES 
6 apples
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. lemon juice
4 tbsp. brandy
Whipped cream

1. Peel and core the apples and cut into 1/2" slices.

2. Melt butter in a fry pan and gently saute the apple slices for 1 minute on each side. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice and continue frying, basting with the syrup until apples are soft. Put on a serving dish.

3. Warm the brandy in a small saucepan. Set alight and pour over the apples.

4. Serve the apples with syrup from the dish and whipped cream. Serves 6.
