HONEY - BARBECUED CHICKEN | |
3/4 c. melted butter 1/3 c. vinegar 1/4 c. honey 2 cloves garlic, minced or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. dry mustard Dash of pepper 1 (2-3 lb.) broiler fryer, halved To prepare sauce, combine first 7 ingredients. Hook chicken wing tips behind shoulder joint into back. Place chicken on grill, skin side up, about 5 inches above hot coals. Cook slowly for 30-35 minutes or until tender, turning and basting frequently or precook any selection of chicken pieces in microwave and then return to grill for basting. |
