HONEY WHOLE WHEAT BREAD 
3 c. whole wheat flour
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1/2 c. honey
1 egg, lightly beaten
4 1/2 to 5 c. white flour
1 tbsp. salt
3 c. milk
2 tbsp. oil
1 c. whole wheat flour

Combine the 3 cups of whole wheat flour, salt, and yeast in a large bowl. Combine milk, honey, and oil in small saucepan and place over low heat. When mixture is warm, pour over flour and blend well. Add egg and beat well. Add remaining wheat and white flour. Knead dough for 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl. Cover with damp cloth and let rise 45-60 minutes or until doubled in bulk. Punch down dough and divide into thirds. Put into greased loaf pans, cover with damp cloth and let rise until double. Put into cold oven, set at 400 degrees and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
