CUCUMBERS IN SOUR CREAM 
3-4 med. cucumbers
3 tbsp. salt
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 1/2 c. sour cream
Black or white pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. dry dill

Pare and thinly slice the cucumbers. Add salt and cover with water. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Drain well and check for taste. If too salty rinse with cold water. Add the sour cream, onion, pepper, celery, salt and dill. Mix thoroughly. Adjust seasonings as desired. Chill at least 2-3 hours before serving as a side dish or salad.
