FRESH BERRY PIE 
9 inch baked pie shell
3/4 c. sugar
2 heaping tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. Karo syrup
1 c. water
2 tbsp. strawberry or raspberry Jello powder

Mix sugar, cornstarch, corn syrup and water together. Bring to a boil and cook until thick and clear. Add Jello and stir until dissolved. Cool. Put berries in bottom of pie shell. Pour cooled mixture over berries. Chill until set. Top with Cool Whip if desired.
