FRESH FRUIT GLAZE FOR PIE 
1 c. water
1 c. plus sugar
3 tbsp. white Karo syrup
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. Jello, the same flavor as the fruit for pie (strawberry, peach, or raspberry)

Cook all but Jello until thick and clear. Turn off heat and add Jello; stir until Jello is dissolved. Cool slightly. Pour over washed prepared fruit in pie crust. May use pastry crust baked or graham cracker crust baked. Chill before serving.
